Hi, I am so glad you are here! My name is Madeline and I fell in love with creating beautiful images of the people and places in my life in the midst of a global pandemic. I have always had a passion for travel but it wasn’t until a few years ago that I realized I didn’t have any pictures that captured the true essence of the places I had been. Before purchasing my first camera, my pictures were mainly iPhone photos that did no justice to any of the incredible things I’d seen.

I made it my mission to teach myself how to shoot in manual mode and to understand the elements that go into capturing stunning images so that could better remember the places I have been for the rest of my life. Now, I take my Canon R6 with me everywhere!

I believe that the most beautiful photos always evoke an emotion and it is my goal to capture and create those memories through travel photography, portraits, engagements, elopements and weddings. A year into my photography journey, I realized how drawn I was to taking pictures of people and capturing raw and simple moments. Now, I get to do something I absolutely LOVE for work!

In my day-to-day I work as a cosmetic chemist, formulating new and novel skincare products, allowing me to flex both my scientific and creative muscle. I graduated the University of Rhode Island with a bachelors in Chemical Engineering in 2022 and knew I wanted to go into the personal care industry. I am also an avid gym goer and have been weight lifting for over 5 years. Health and wellness are a huge part of my life and are yet another thing I am passionate about. As an adventure seeker, I am always up for anything outdoors - I will never say no to hiking in the mountains, ski trips, walks along the beach, snorkeling, really anything that gets me outside! Not so surprisingly, travel absolutely lights my soul on fire, so I am always scouting my next adventure. I have visited (and hiked) 19 US National Parks and have traveled to dozens of other places around the US, Europe and Caribbean Islands. I recently checked solo-travel to Banff National Park off my bucket list! There is nothing I love more than researching amazing places in the world and then getting to experience them first hand.

Photography makes me the happiest me, and it would be an honor to play a part in capturing your simple moments and major milestones.
